Shopify Integration Coming soon
Connect your Shopify store to waveMail and add customers automatically based on what they do in your store.
Coming soon. The waveConnect app for Shopify is on its way to the Shopify App Store. This page previews how it will work so you can plan your setup — there's nothing to download yet, and an install link will appear here once it's live.
What It Does
waveConnect links your Shopify store to waveMail and automatically adds customers to your lists based on store activity — no coding or manual exports required.
- Connect securely with a one-click Connect to waveMail button — no copying or pasting API keys.
- Link Shopify to one or more waveMail lists and map customer data to your list fields.
- Trigger on key store events and keep your audience in sync automatically.
- Bulk-sync your existing Shopify customers into a waveMail list.
Store Events You'll Be Able to Use
- Customer created — a new customer account is created.
- Order paid — an order is paid.
- Order fulfilled and partially fulfilled.
- Order cancelled and refunded.
- Checkout abandoned — re-engage shoppers who didn't complete checkout.
How Setup Will Work
- Install the waveConnect app from the Shopify App Store (link coming soon) and open it from your Shopify admin.
- Connect your waveMail account — on the app's Settings page, click Connect to waveMail, log in, and approve. (A manual API key option is available as a fallback.)
- Link a list and map Shopify fields (name, email, and more) to your list fields.
- Choose your triggers — for example, Order paid and Checkout abandoned.
- Add conditional logic (optional) so contacts are only added when your conditions are met.
- Sync existing customers (optional) into the linked list.
Testing & Monitoring
- Trigger a configured event (for example, place a test order) and confirm the contact appears in the linked list.
- Use the app's Logs page to review what was sent and troubleshoot anything that didn't go through.
The connection is shared across all waveConnect apps, so it works the same way everywhere. You can connect, disconnect, and reconnect at any time from the app's Settings page.
