Integrate Any Website via waveMail Forms

Build subscription forms with a drag-and-drop editor and add them to any website. Forms connect directly to your waveMail lists, so every signup becomes a subscriber automatically — no coding required.

What You Can Do

  • Design forms visually with drag-and-drop field ordering, layout, and theme controls.
  • Pull in your list's custom fields and choose which ones to show.
  • Display the form three ways: Embedded in the page, as a Popup overlay, or as a Slide-in from the corner.
  • Add it to any site using an iframe, a JavaScript snippet, or a direct link.

Step 1 — Open List Forms

  1. In your waveMail customer area, open the Forms menu in the sidebar.
  2. Click List Forms to see your existing forms (or an empty list if this is your first).

Step 2 — Create a Form

  1. Click Create (or Add new).
  2. Give the form a name and select the waveMail list it should subscribe people to.
  3. The builder opens with that list's fields available to add.

Step 3 — Design It

  1. Add and arrange fields — drag fields into the form and reorder them. The fields come from your selected list, so mapping is automatic.
  2. Set required fields and adjust labels, help text, and visibility as needed.
  3. Style it — apply a theme preset and adjust spacing and layout so it matches your site.
  4. Choose a display mode from the toolbar:
    • Embedded — the form sits inline within your page content.
    • Popup — the form appears as an overlay on top of the page.
    • Slide-in — the form slides in from a corner of the screen.
  5. Use the live preview to check how it looks across devices, then click Save.

Step 4 — Add the Form to Your Website

  1. Back on the List Forms list, click the Embed button for your form.
  2. Choose the method that suits your site and copy the code:
    • Iframe embed — drop it anywhere; the form runs in its own sandbox. Best for quick, isolated placement.
    • JavaScript snippet — a small container plus a script tag that renders the form inline within your page.
    • Direct link — a hosted URL you can link to or share directly.
  3. Paste the chosen code into your website where you want the form to appear (in your CMS, page builder, or theme template).

Step 5 — Test It

  1. Open the page (or the direct link) and submit a test entry.
  2. Check the connected list in your waveMail account to confirm the new subscriber appears.
  3. Need to make changes? Edit the form in List Forms and save — embedded forms update automatically, so you don't need to replace the code on your site.
